Now at work on a widely-anticipated follow-up, Texas songwriting icon and understated guitar god James McMurtry’s most recent effort, The Horses and the Hounds, brought him wide acclaim for personal narratives written with deceptively effortless elegance (“Canola Fields”) and endless energy (“If It Don’t Bleed”). This solo show, with special guest BettySoo, promises to be a very special evening.
