Auditions: Alice Into Wonderland

Thursday, August 6, 2026.

First audition: 4:00 PM, End: 7:00 pm

The Bellows Falls Opera House is proud to present auditions for the youth & family production of ALICE INTO WONDERLAND, put on by the BFOH Special Events Coordinator, Sean Rohberon.

Where: BFOH main theater

Who can audition: Youth, 8 to 18 are the first priority on possible cast and crew unless a role specifies an adult is needed. Families of said youth get second priority, filling in where is needed. Community members who audition and are not affiliated with the youth involved get third priority, filling in what the families can't. We are looking for the youth to be the focus, and for the community to support them in their efforts. We are also looking for mentors, willing to take individual youth under their wing to educate them on what they are trying to accomplish, whether you know how to act, or you are great with lighting, we are hoping you will step up to educate, so youth can master and run every aspect of the production.

How to prepare: For auditions, we are looking for you to prepare for two things.
1. Read a monologue that will be present at auditions, doing your best voice acting, you will not need anything memorized.
2. Physically perform as the body to a monologue that will be read along with your performance. We want to see how well you can physically emote a piece that is read by someone else.

This production is free to participate in and is meant to be educational. Participants of all skill levels are welcome.

Auditions will coincide with the Community Gala & Talent Show Auditions. So please bring a talent to perform as well if you plan to audition for both programs.

Practices: Mondays from 3-5pm. Thursdays from 3-7:30pm, except on days of special events and August 13 and 18.

Performance dates and times: Friday, November 20 & Saturday November 21 at 7pm. Sunday November 22 at 2pm.

You will not need to stay the whole time, auditions will be first come, first served, once your audition is done, you will be free to leave.
